Covid-19 Update Monday, 16th November

As a result of the recent outbreaks of Covid-19 in South Australia, the Arkaba Medical Centre is taking extra precautions to protect our patients and staff.

In line with recommendations from SA Health, if you were present at either Lyell McEwin Hospital on Saturday the 14th November OR Parafield Plaza Supermarket on Thursday the 12th November, we ask that you refrain from coming into the clinic.

If you were present at either of these two locations at the specified time and currently have an appointment booked with one of our GPs, please contact the clinic to make other arrangements. You will be eligible for a Telehealth appointment.

We also ask that if you are experiencing any cold of flu symptoms, including (but not limited to) sneezing, runny nose, sore throat, cough or fever, please refrain from coming into the clinic unless you have received a negative Covid-19 test result in the previous 14 days AND were not present at the above locations during the specified times.

The Arkaba Medical Centre is working in conjunction with the Adelaide Central Respiratory Clinic to ensure that patients can conveniently book in to be assessed and tested for Covid-19.

If you are suffering from cold and flu symptoms, visit https://www.centralrespiratoryclinic.com.au/ to make an appointment.

For current patients of the clinic who do not fit the above criteria, please note that Telehealth appointments are only available for those who have been seen in clinic within the past 12 months.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation in these unprecedented times.
