Standard Appointment
10 minute appointment for patients presenting with one issue.
Long Appointment
20 - 30 minute appointment for patients presenting with more than one issue. Patients will be charged a fee according to length and complexity of visit.
Telehealth Appointment
10 minute consult via telephone. Patients will be called at the time of their appointment and are not required to phone in. Standard appointment fees apply.
*Eligibility criteria applies: patients must have been seen in the clinic within the last 12 months OR be required by SA Health to isolate.
Respiratory Symptom Appointment
𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬:
Patients book a 20 minute appointment online or by calling the clinic, please advise patient concierge that you would like an in clinic respiratory appointment.
Pre appointment payment details are obtained.
Please note: Practice Fees apply, payment for the appointment will not be taken until after the consultation is complete.
𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:
Patient to arrive in the Arkaba Medical Centre carpark and wait in car. Patients who are not arriving at the clinic in their own car please advise reception.
Call the following number to advise of arrival 0401 142 608.
Remain in the car and await doctors phone call to discuss symptoms and history.
The doctor will then invite the patient to wait at the rear entry to the clinic.
Patient to don a mask prior to entry.
Doctor meets patient and takes them to consultation room for assessment.
Consultation is finalised.
Doctor escorts patient back out of clinic.
Patient returns to car.
Patient concierge finalise payment of the consultation.
Video Appointment
10 minute consult via video-link. Patients will be sent a link prior to the appointment and are required to access the link at the scheduled appointment time. Standard appointment fees apply.

Cervical Screening Test (CST)
20 minute appointment. Formerly 'Pap Smear Test'.
Appointment requiring interpretation services
A long appointment (20 - 30 minutes) for patients who require the help of an interpreter.
We use the services of Translating & Interpreting Service (TIS National) and we can assist you with arranging a telephone interpreter for your consultation, or an on-site interpreter to attend during your consultation.
TIS National provides free interpreting services to non-English speaking Australian citizens and permanent residents on behalf of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
