Dr. Alexandra Githie Barrett

BHSc, MD, DCH

Githie graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Adelaide before going on to complete a Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University and a further Diploma in Child Health. Githie joined us in her final year of training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, bringing with her an enthusiastic approach to medicine. Her interests include Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health. In her well-deserved time off, Githie enjoys hiking various landscapes around Australia and overseas, or putting her feet up with a nice crime-fiction novel.
